Essential Mathematics through Mathematics Games is Part 2 of the Maths and Game Learning series. Games should have a clear mathematics outcome and a focus on essential mathematics that clearly link back to the common Australian mathematics curriculum. What are pedagogical sound mathematics games which involve students in a range of situations including individual, pairs and small  group learning environments.

The Presenter: Richard Korbosky 

Richard is a teacher, author and presenter of Professional Development courses. He  is well known for his love of Mathematics. He develops and presents a range of practical, hands–on professional learning opportunities for teachers and curriculum leaders. He has a wide range of knowledge about what works in the classroom. He is particularly interested in using mathematics manipulatives to support students conceptual understandings, engage students to love mathematics and uses strategies to support students who are having trouble with mathematics.
