Ellen Corovic

Join Ellen to discuss creative ways of engaging all students in your maths classroom.

Ellen Corovic manages Maths Active Schools Program that provides a range of teaching and learning strategies to enthuse and engage students in mathematics. Activities include: applied mathematics; making real life connections, strategies for mental computation and problem solving.

Ellen Corovic is a primary teacher and currently working as an MAV Primary Mathematics Education Consultant. Ellen studied teaching after completing an Applied Science Degree.

Over the last five years Ellen has been working with the Mathematical Association of Victoria and has continued to focus on clear and purposeful learning while delivering a range of targeted professional development sessions for teachers and schools. Her latest projects include the development of curriculum utilising contemporary technologies for learning that has led the MAV’s Made By Maths app.
