Mathematics Apps are a type of software that allows you to perform specific tasks. Applications for desktop or laptop computers are sometimes called desktop applications, and those for mobile devices are called mobile apps. When opened an application, it runs inside the operating system until it is closed.
There is a proliferation of mathematical apps available on the web. The Digital Learning and Mathematics community aims to promote apps that have been critically reviewed and recommended by mathematics education experts and teachers who have used apps with their students for effective learning.

GeoGebra is an interactive geometry, algebra, statistics and calculus application, intended for learning and teaching mathematics and science from primary school to university level. GeoGebra is available on multiple platforms with its desktop applications for Windows, Mac OS and Linux, with its tablet apps for Android, iPad and Windows, and with its web application based on HTML5 technology.
