Submissions
The following submissions have been made by AAMT to a variety of outside agencies and organisations. Development of submissions involves solicitation of input from the general membership when timelines allow. In some cases, however, circumstances require that papers are developed by the AAMT Executive and/or Council on behalf of members.

National Numeracy Review (July 2007)
In November 2006, Senior Officials from the Commonwealth, State and Territory governments agreed to conduct the National Numeracy Review to identify the teaching, learning and assessment processes that best lead to improved numeracy outcomes for all students. A review Panel was set up, Background and Discussion papers prepared and input requested.
The submission below was developed by the AAMT Executive, in consultation with the AAMT Council.

ACER report Year 12 Curriculum Content and Achievement Standards (2007)
The Australian Council for Educational Research report entitled Year 12 Curriculum Content and Achievement Standards aimed to identify commonalities and differences between Year 12 subjects around the country in a range of curriculum areas, including mathematics. The AAMT prepared detailed comments on the report and provided these to the Australian Government and ACER.
